What’s in your Browser?

What’s in your Browser?

Well, sometime’s nothing… Does your browser lock up when you go to a particular website? Sometimes it can be your browser thats not communicating well. I use Safari and sometimes a certain website just hiccups and I cannot either download from or view it. What do I do? I’m so glad you asked. 🙂

When I get to close for missiles and switch to guns (from the movie Top Gun) I change browsers. I have both FireFox & Google Chrome as my backup. And between those I’m a happy surfer dude…

I just received an email from PCMag.com on Firefox being their favorite browser and thought I would pass this on.

Well Hello El Capitan! You’re not just a Mountain, you’re an operating system…

Well Hello El Capitan! You’re not just a Mountain, you’re an operating system…

Apple released El Capitan. For Free. Yes you might or might not have a few little bugs to work out with this update…

I haven’t had any issues at all… (yes I’m knocking on wood right now)

Though, my son has had issues with Office 2011 and thousands of people have experience those same issues with Office 2011 and Office 2016. Users, and my son, are complaining of Office crashing and not responding.

I resolved this issue by rebuilding my Identity Database.

One remedy is to try this:

1.  Launch the Microsoft Database Utility from the Microsoft Office 2011 Program Group.

2.  Select “Main Identity” from the list of available identity databases

3. Click “Rebuild”

I was able to immediately open Outlook 2011 and synchronize with Exchange Server.

If this fails, you may attempt to rebuild a backup database and set it to Default.

What it did do is fix my wifi dropping issue ever since I upgraded to Yosemite. It really didn’t effect me either because I have a data line plugged in. But it still bothered me because I just want everything to work right. Don’t you?!? But I have to say I’m really liking this El Capitan update.

I have 1 client today that has some issues even downloading the upgrade. I will be sure to have that puppy fixed today for sure.

If your feeling froggy and want to upgrade just make sure you backup all of your files prior. If you have some specific programs/apps that you use make sure they are compatible with El Capitan as well. Here are 5 things you need to know from Gottabemobile.
